Nasreen Alimohamed | Founder, Advisor and Angel Investor | Esoteric Ventures
Nasreen, is a former C-Suite executive in the Consumer Scale Up Space and held Senior positions in the Luxury Fashion Industry. She has now developed a portfolio career as Founder of Esoteric Ventures, a boutique advisory firm working with Female Founders in the creative industries as a Strategic CFO as well as an Angel investor and Advisor to pre-seed and seed businesses in Consumer. Her area of focus is Beauty, Wellness and Lifestyle products in the premium, luxury and CPG space. Nasreen has invested in over 15 consumer brands, had 3 exits (the most recent delivering a 5x return in 3 years) and is passionate about providing expertise to female founders to support their growth ambitions and gain access to capital. Nasreen is also a member of Alma Angels and an LP in Araya Ventures, a super angel fund. When not hanging out with brand founders you can find her in Hyde Park on her rollerblades or jumping on a flight usually seeking the sun.
Joanna Loizidou | Partner, Corporate Accounting | Gerald Edelman
As a chartered accountant I manage a diverse portfolio of clients from larger property companies to SMEs and owner-managed businesses and provide them with varied business support. This includes the production of management information, statutory financial reporting, general business advisory, and strategic growth advice.
As a female partner in a male dominated industry, I was inspired to set up the Women in Business network to empower women within our firm and beyond, fostering a supportive environment for professional growth and success. My clients’ stories became the inspiration behind this initiative where we offer a platform to share experiences, advice and support for each other.
Debbie Serota | Partner, Corporate Law | Irwin Mitchell
Debbie specialises in advising Family offices, entrepreneurs, high and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. She undertakes a range of work for these clients, including M&A, joint ventures, investments, equity fundraising, family investment companies and reorganisations of owner managed companies, re-structuring for wealth protection as well as advising companies as they prepare for sale.
Much of Debbie’s work has a cross-border element and she often project manages multi-jurisdictional transactions for her clients.
